A: No, Monster Studios is available with the app only.

A: Monster Studios accepts .mp4 and .mov video files and as long as they are saved to your smartphone, you will be able to import them into Monster Studios.

A: There are a variety of ways to transfer videos and images from one device to another. Take a look at the options below to see which method will work for your devices.

  • Mac and iPhone users can use Airdrop to transfer files over Wi-Fi.
  • Android & iPhones can connect directly to your computer via USB for a direct transfer.
  • Anyone can use sharing or data storage sites like Google Drive or Dropbox. Save assets to the website or app and then download them onto your other device.
  • Don’t forget, you can save and share your final Video Job Ad (see how on page 14).

A: Monster Studios does not support videos longer than 10 minutes, however success can vary for newer devices.

A: Although we recommend a length of 1-2 minutes, you may create videos up to 15 minutes long.

A: The Monster watermark is not removable at this time.

A: The size of the file will depend on the length (anywhere between 1MB and 1GB). Monster Studios video job ads are processed into .mp4 files.

A: Not at this time, but rest assured that Monster Studios supports 720p or 1080p and will be compatible with social sites and video hosting sites like YouTube and Vimeo.

A: Make sure you are connected to Wi-Fi or a Cellular Data Network. If you are still unable to save, you may be running low on space. Remove unwanted videos/photos/files from your device then try saving again.

A: It’s best to be connected to Wi-Fi in order to avoid using cellular data altogether. But, if Wi-Fi is unavailable, you have the option to ALLOW “Cellular Upload” within the app settings. As a courtesy, it is turned off by default as this functionality may not be included in your phone carrier’s plan and you could accrue additional charges.

A: It is highly recommended to connect to Wi-Fi – especially if you do not have unlimited Cellular Data plans. If you do not use Wi-Fi, your carrier may have cellular data transfer fees that apply.

A: If you choose to post to other ‘jobs like this,’ your video will be posted to similar positions that Monster has categorized based on SOC codes. So, for example, if you’re posting a video to an Accounting job ad and select to post it to ‘jobs like this,’ the video would also be added to any active job ads that falls within the Accounting/Finance/Insurance category such as: Accountants, Auditors, Claims Adjusters, Financial Analysts, Loan Officers, Tax Preparers, etc.
